Outdoor Games with Mr. Mickley

Join Mr. Mickley for outdoor games and sports! In this six-week program, participants will:

• Learn the rules to fun games and sports.

• Learn cooperative skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship.

• Strengthen skills such as kicking, throwing, spatial awareness and more!

• Have a blast while getting fresh air and exercise!

Time: Wednesdays from 3:00 - 4:00pm

Sports and Pokémon Cards with Mr. Lee (FULL)

Opening a pack of cards is like opening a present or a rare treasure! Learn all about your favorite athletes or characters. Strengthen your friendships by trading fairly with your friends. Learn how to protect and preserve various cards. Mr. Lee can teach you how to organize, look for little details, and practice even some basic math skills. Ready to start your own card collection and embark on this exciting journey? It's a fantastic way to combine your love for card collecting with a super cool hobby!

Percussion Ensemble with Mr. Rhode

Ready to take on a fun musical challenge? Directed by Mr. Rhode, the Liggett Percussion Ensemble invites 3rd–5th grade students to play drum set, xylophone, and percussion through rock, pop, and original songs. Designed for all experience levels, the group features tailored parts for both confident piano players and total beginners. We need at least 10 participants to run the ensemble, so grab your sticks and join the groove! 

Time: Mondays from 3:00 - 4:00pm

Drama Club with Mrs. Galvin

Is your student curious about the performing arts or needing a little extra practice for that Ignite Talk down the road? Sign up for 6 weeks of theatre work to spark a passion and confidence in sharing stories.  The only requirement for this class is a willingness to have fun and explore our ability to share with others!

Coding and Minecraft with Mr. Lee (FULL)

Learn basic coding by exploring code.org and Scratch websites. Furthermore, plan to create and build in various biomes and worlds in both Creative and Survival modes in Minecraft Education.

Time: Thursdays from 3:00 - 4:00pm

The Local Legend Society: The Quest Begins with Mr. Hemler

In this club, students will learn basic research skills and uncover stories from our community. Students will use their research to create an in-depth history project of their choice (paper, website, performance, exhibit, or documentary). Students will have an opportunity to submit their research to local and state historical competitions in the second session of the Local Legend Society, starting January 2027.

Time: Fridays from 3:00 - 4:00pm

Kitchen Kidz 1 with Empowerment Education (FULL)

Welcome to Kitchen Kidz! A world of tantalizing tastes, succulent smells, and miraculous meals await eager epicurean explorers. Your helpful guides at Empowerment will show and grow the skills you need to make your favorite snacks, meals, and desserts on your own. All of this happens while having a ton of fun, staying safe, and making friends along the way.

Time: Tuesdays from 3:00 - 4:30pm

Robot Invasion 1 with Empowerment Education

Welcome to Robot Invasion! An engineering playground where you can build to your heart's content. Dive into LEGO Mindstorms, VEX kits, or Star Wars Bots! Explore Block Coding and LIDAR tech with mBOT! Discover electrical components and circuits with Arduino and Breadboard! Journey into the wonderful world of invention with Empowerment this fall.

Time: Wednesdays from 3:00 - 4:00pm

TGA Golf with Dave Robinson

TGA brings the golf course to our lower school playground! Certified instructors teach swing fundamentals, rules, etiquette, and life values as students advance through the five-level program. It is a great way for your child to start the game, or for more experienced players to improve. All equipment is provided.

Chess Instruction with The Mandell Chess Club

This class is for beginning, intermediate, and advanced players. Instructions and tips on how to play the game comprise this class.
